Art from Many Hands
Published in Hardcover by Prentice Hall (February, 1981)
Average review score:

Art Teacher's reviewI've done many of these projects with children, and they are both educational (the book gives some cultural and historical references on the projects) and a cut above some of the really simplistic projects found in a lot of books. I go back to it again and again! I'd highly recommend it.

Arthur Baker's Copybook of Renaissance Calligraphy: Mercator's Italic Hand
Published in Paperback by Dover Pubns (October, 1981)
Average review score:

Fine addition to Calligrapher's libraryWhile Gerhardus Mercator was known for his geographical work and knowledge, few knew that he was also a very fine calligrapher. This book is an excellent resource for those interested in increasing their knowledge of calligraphy styles. WHat is particularly interesting about this book is the fact that the leters are very true to Mercator's original letters because he cut his own printing blocks. The swooping letters, very elegant, are organic in form, not harsh or rigid. All the designs, by the way, are copyright free - a nice bonus.

Artstarts for Little Hands!: Fun & Discoveries for 3- To 7-Year Olds (Williamson Little Hands Series)
Published in Paperback by Williamson Publishing (June, 2003)
Average review score:

SAHMThis book is a must have for anyone with small childern. The crafts are fun and use normal craft items most found right in your home. It even offers book suggestions to match the craft(s) projects. There are easier craft ideas for the hard crafts that are towards the higher age group so that you can come back to that craft later but still do something with it now.

Ascension's Right Hand (Mage: The Ascension, No 12)
Published in Paperback by White Wolf Publishing Inc. (May, 1995)
Average review score:

They'll be there for youAscension's Right Hand is a book about the allies of mages. It is a rather old book before Mage Second Addition but it still has a lot useful information. The book explores the personalities behind the Allies/Familiar Background of Mages. Allies for all the Traditions, Technocracy, Marauders, and Nephandi were detailed. There was a slight emphasis on the allies of the Traditions but that was expected. At the time of the release, they were the only PC-friendly group available. A lot of the material regarding normal human companions is not new but the information on supernatural custos, like familiars, is really useful. This book is great for people interested in playing a toned down game where there is less of an emphasis on destroying things with kewl powerz, but one that focuses more on survival and loyalty.

At the Hands of the Abuser
Published in Paperback by Xlibris Corporation (May, 2003)
Average review score:

Alec's ReviewI just love the way the book was compiled. It shows that men must be protectors and not destroyers. This book has a lot to offer to the world. Every home should have a copy. The book holds your interest and was well written. I am glad that i had a chance to read it. I love the author and was glad that i had a chance to meet her in person. Her book will be a great inspiration to many. The book tells about the way a woman fell deply in love with this guy who she then trusted and married. Unfortunately he betrayed her trust and abused her. Luckily by sharing her story with a sister, after one of the greatest disasters in her life with her husband, she was finally able to get out of it. Angela, keep up the good works. Looking forward to reading more of your future books.

Attacking Football Defenses With Radar Blocking
Published in Hardcover by Prentice Hall Trade (April, 1985)
Average review score:

A Blocking ClassicCoach Hand has produced a truly great football book based on a simple theme -- equipping your offensive line with a few sets of rules and calls that will allow them to block any defensive front.
Hand outlines both a few sets of basic rules and a number of specific calls that will deal with any front. Some calls involve the whole offensive line or half the line, while others are special two-man calls to deal with an unanticipated situation at the point of attack.
Hand goes into so much detail that he acknowledges that very few coaches will ever attempt to install all the rules he provides. The "Radar" concept's greatest strength, however, lies in its modularity -- you can pick and choose which calls you want to install, and further refine the process for individual opponents.
Highly recommended.

Audio Drama 101: A Ring Lardner Selection
Published in Audio Cassette by Lend a Hand Society (November, 1999)
Average review score:

A moving experienceRing Lardner, with his background as a sport writer, demonstrated his unique ability to mix dialogues of his characters with vivid descriptions of the scenes and plots of his short stories. The result: Reading his stories is like watching movies. This audio dramatization of Ring Larners's stories include his classics such as "Champiion" and "The Golden Honeymoon" Again, to listen to these stories is like to enjoy some great old time movies. The only difference and the better part of it is that, the narrations-the very essences of these stories, never miss out in the process.

Audio Drama 101: Early Americans
Published in Hardcover by Lend a Hand Society (November, 1998)
Average review score:

a great experience in listening to classic short storiesThis audiodrama collection contains 12 short stories by Sherwood Anderson, Ambrose Bierce, Stephen Crane, and Ernest Hemingway, just to name a few. The good thing about these stroies is that they are not read or performed by a single reader, rather, there are different narrators and readers wonderfully acting out the characters of the stories. Another good point about this collection is that it is not like other dramatized version of audiobooks, which tend to stretch and simplified the plot in order to enhance dramatic effect. Audiodrama 101Vol II, while retaining every word and sentence of the original stories, has added suitable yet controlled sound effect. I mean, who can ever forget the drum sound before the excution scene in "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" ? Any way, I just want to say. This is a wonderful audiobook, and I believe they really brings those classic stories to life.
